About Counsellor:
I am Dr. Niveditha Lokesh a resident of Mysore, Karnataka, with extensive experience in the field of education. I have served as the Principal of St. Joseph's First Grade College, Jayalakshmipuram, Mysore, affiliated with the University of Mysore, for nearly five years. Before that, I worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Visual Communication at Amrita University, Mysore campus, for almost two years, and at Mahajana First Grade College, Mysore, for eight years.
I hold a Bachelor’s degree and Diploma in Life Sciences and a Master's degree in Journalism with a Ph.D. Throughout my career, I have taken on various roles, including Facilitator in Human Resource Development, Placement Officer, and Convener of the Women Empowerment Cell..
As an Assistant Professor, I have had the privilege of teaching students from over ten different countries, including Tanzania, Kazakhstan, Afghanistan, Iran, the Maldives, Mozambique, and many others. This experience has provided me with a global perspective on education and connectivity. Additionally, I have travelled to more than 15 countries, including the USA (California), Turkey, France (Paris), Italy (Rome), Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, Austria, the Maldives, the UAE (Dubai), Spain, Portugal, and Thailand, enriching my knowledge of diverse cultures and perspectives.
Skilled in Public Relations, I have built a strong, steady, and growing network in both academic and media circles, which equips me to effectively support students in their educational and professional endeavours.

I had taken PCMB in 1st PUC with the dream of becoming a doctor. But due to financial constraints, I had to change my plans and was left confused about what to do next.
